We handle personal information, etc., as a personal information handling business operator under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and, as necessary, as a controller or equivalent under the data protection laws and regulations of applicable countries or regions.

- Websites, newsletters, SNS operation, ad delivery, inquiry response, and other related services ancillary to the above
- Where individual privacy provisions apply to specific services, such individual provisions may take precedence over this Policy.

Article 5 Provision to Third Parties
- We will not provide personal data to third parties without obtaining your prior consent, except in the following cases:

Article 6 Outsourcing and External Services Used

・Workflow automation tools Examples: Make Purpose: Data integration and automated processing between external services
・Scheduling and online meeting tools Examples: HubSpot, Zoom, Google Meet Purpose: Reservation management, scheduling, calls, video conferencing
・Website, content hosting, and display tools Examples: HubSpot, Substack Purpose: Website display, digital content hosting and delivery
・Email services Examples: Gmail, HubSpot, Substack Purpose: Inquiry response, individual communication, important notifications
・Analytics and advertising-related tools Examples: Google Analytics, other ad delivery or effectiveness measurement tools Purpose: Site analysis, improvement, ad delivery, ad effectiveness measurement
We properly select these outsourcing recipients and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision through contracts and other means. Provision through outsourcing may not constitute third-party provision under law.
Article 7 Provision to Third Parties Located Abroad or Cross-Border Transfer
- Although we are based in Japan, your personal data may be handled by operators located abroad or stored on servers located abroad, due to the use of external service providers or other reasons.
- When we provide personal data in a manner that constitutes provision to third parties abroad under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and legally required consent is needed, we will provide the information required by law in advance when obtaining such consent.
- When we provide personal data to third parties abroad that have established systems for continuously implementing measures equivalent to those required by law, we will, in accordance with law, take necessary measures to ensure the continued implementation of such equivalent measures.

Article 8 Data Processing by Hubspot
Our site operates on the platforms of Hubspot, Inc. and Substack, Inc. Some personal information collected when you use our site is also collected and processed by Hubspot / Substack.

Article 9 Use of Cookies and Access Analysis

- We may use Google Analytics and other access analytics tools or advertising-related tools. Information collected through such tools may be managed or used based on the privacy policies or other conditions of each provider.
- You may restrict or disable the use of cookies, etc., by changing browser settings, changing settings on cookie consent banners, using opt-out means provided by each operator, or other means. However, in such cases, some functions of the Services may not operate properly.
Article 10 Security Management of Personal Information

Article 11 Retention Period

Article 13 Opt-Out from Marketing Communications (Newsletters, etc.)
When we send newsletters or other marketing communications, users may opt out (unsubscribe) at any time using the methods designated by us (such as the unsubscribe link in the delivery email or contacting the contact point in Article 1).
Article 14 Information of Minors
- We primarily provide the Services to adult customers.
- When a minor uses the Services and provides personal information, please do so, to the extent possible, with the consent of a parent or other legal representative.
- If it is reasonably determined that the involvement of a legal representative is required, but it is discovered that the information was collected without such involvement, we may, to the extent necessary, delete such information or take other appropriate actions.
Article 15 Consideration for GDPR, etc. (EEA/UK, etc.)
We primarily provide the Services to users in Japan, but due to the nature of internet sales, use from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, etc., is possible.
For users residing in the EEA or the UK, we will, to the extent applicable, take into account the GDPR and related laws and regulations, and respond to the exercise of the following rights within a reasonable scope.

Article 16 Rights of California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
- Customers residing in California, USA, may exercise the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

- Requests for deletion of personal information
- Opt-out from the sale and sharing of personal information
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising rights

Article 17 Relationship with Other Terms and Policies
We establish terms of use, etc., for each service. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and any such terms, this Policy shall prevail with respect to the handling of personal information (provided that where such terms provide for stricter handling, such provisions may apply).
Article 18 Revisions
- We may revise this Policy in response to legal amendments, changes in service content, or as otherwise necessary.
- When revising this Policy, we will inform users of the revised content and the effective date by posting on our website or by other appropriate means.
- In the case of significant changes, we will inform users through individual notice or other reasonable means as necessary.
Article 19 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by the laws of Japan. The jurisdiction of court for any disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall follow the jurisdiction set forth in our terms of use.
Article 20 Change of Business Entity
In the event that this business becomes incorporated as a corporation, or otherwise the business entity is changed, the handling of personal information based on this Policy shall be succeeded to the corporation or other business entity that succeeds to such business.
